Elite NDE

Careers

An NDT career, not just a job

Most inspection companies burn people out and start over. Elite NDE is built on the opposite bet: train people properly, schedule them like humans, and pay for every certification they earn.

The deal

01

What working here means

Ladder

Wage steps in writing

Every certification you earn comes with a wage increase that is in your offer letter, not a verbal promise. We pay for exams, seminars, and training time. No repayment contracts, ever.

Shifts

Sustainable schedules

We staff projects for coverage instead of stretching one crew across seven-day weeks. Rotations are planned, published, and respected.

W-2

W-2, insured, equipped

Full W-2 employment with workers' comp and insurance, company equipment, and per diem on travel assignments.

The ladder

02

Trainee to Level III

  1. Trainee

Hired, vision exam, safety orientation, first method training begins on day one. Paid from day one.

  2. Level I

Supervised inspection work under our written practice. Typically 3 to 6 months in.

  3. Level II

Independently billable. The inflection point of an NDT career, typically 12 to 24 months. Wage step in writing.

  4. Second method

Cross-method certification means more dispatch options and another wage step.

  5. CWI

We pay for the seminar and the exam. Another step in writing.

  6. Level III / lead

Program leadership. The company pays you to become the person who signs the written practice.

Who we hire

03

Welders, veterans, and techs who want more

Experienced Level IIs get certified under our written practice and go to work. Welders who want off the torch, veterans entering the trades, and trade school grads start as paid trainees on a registered apprenticeship track that satisfies both SNT-TC-1A and NAS 410 training guidelines.
